Visa:
needed, for tourism and bisness up to 90 days. The Visa can be released directly at the airport in the moment of your entry in the country and his cost is 53,00 Euro approx (for the year 2008) payable also in Ariary equivalent.
Verify at the Madagascar's Embassy in London to do it directly in your country to avoid lost of time and money.

IMPORTANT: WHEN YOU ARRIVE IN MADAGASCAR YOU MUST HAVE THE AIRPLANE TICKET COMING BACK.

Vaccination needed:
It's no needed any vaccinations.If somebody in the last six months come from
one area where the yellow fever is endemic can be requested the attestation of
vacination's certificate.

Customs and money formalities:
If you arrive with more than 7.500 Euro it's better issue a declaration to avoid possible problems when you leave the country.

The Country is member of CITIES:
The importation of many faune and flore manufacts it's possible thanks to a
certificate issued directly by the seller

Domestic animals:
To import an animal before the departure it needs have an importation permission. A dog with more than three months and a cat with more than six months must be accompained with a sanitary document showing the antirabbic's vaccination released more than one month and less than one year before the arrival in the country.
